Another Hollywood quote, chosen this time by Kayako. It's from Rod Steiger, a famous American actor whose best performance was probably in the classic movie "In the Heat of the Nght". The quote is -
"Feelings sometimes make a better calendar than dates."
Kayoko comments is -
I like it so much. Many people use Calendar and write down their schedule, which shows your own memory. For me, if I have enough time, I'm not satisfied with my life unless I'm impressed with something or I feel happy. Feelings is precious for human beings, I think.

Let me tell you a little story here. Once I was living in the high Himalayas in a beautiful little village called Shirar. I was staying with a Scottish friend and his family. They spent the summer there and moved to the south in the winter. One day I asked when they would make the trip south and he replied, "When it becomes too cold to have a bath in the river." The house was very primitive, had no running water and like the Indian villagers we bathed in the nearby river. A couple of weeks later, I took a bath and the water was so much colder than the day before. We left for the warm southlands three days later. Was that a case of 'feelings' being better than a calendar?
