What do you think? Number 5

Yukina chose this quote from Michel Butor, a French writer.
"Every word written is a victory against death."
And she said:
This quotation was the most impressive for me. I think that every wordwritten is going to be the proof of one's life,Like writings of predecessor's are precious for us, it shows and helpsus have the opportunity to know something important for living in ourlives. Writings can be handed down for ages to come even if you'realready dead.

A quick comment about making mistakes here.
This weblog is intended to encourage you to think about things and accurate grammar is less important than your ideas expressed in English
Thee have been many grammar mistakes in your posts. Of course there are, you are trying to express very difficult concepts in a language that is not your own. I am not too concerned about these. Your task is to communicate ideas, not translate words.
Sometimes, however, I may draw your attention to a mistake. This is one of these times. The phrase 'not ever thinked' is totally understandable, but 'never thought' would be a lot better.
The French philosopher Rene Descartes famously said, "I think, therefore I am." If some archaeologist in the distant future uncovers the essays you have written in Wednesday's writing class, he might say, "They wrote, therefore they were." Would that be a victory against death?
